Michael Nicholson is a Partner in the firm's Real Estate Development and Finance Group. He focuses his practice on all aspects of commercial real estate, including acquisitions, sales, financing, development, UPREIT transactions and Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges. His experience also includes providing full-service leasing representation to local, regional and national landlords and tenants for all types of retail, office and industrial leases, including build-to-suit, reverse build-to-suit and ground leases.

A significant portion of Michael’s practice is devoted to the representation of real estate investment trusts in a variety of real estate, corporate and transactional matters, with an emphasis on structuring and closing complex sale-leaseback transactions involving retail, office and industrial investment properties across the United States.
