Jeff Vaisey is a partner in the firm's Real Estate Development & Finance Department, focusing his practice on transactional matters, including commercial real estate, finance, and corporate law.
Jeff has extensive experience at both local and national levels, handling commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, sale-leaseback transactions, joint ventures, and tax-deferred exchanges (including 1031 and 721/UPREIT transactions). He also advises clients on a wide range of financing structures, including secured and unsecured loans, syndicated and single-lender facilities, preferred equity, and swap transactions governed by ISDA documentation.
In addition to his real estate expertise, Jeff represents public and private companies, private equity funds, and family offices in various corporate transactions. He regularly counsels founders and start-ups on organizational matters and provides guidance to companies on general corporate and commercial matters.
Jeff has also developed a strong practice advising clients in cryptocurrency and blockchain-related industries, assisting with regulatory, transactional, and operational matters in this rapidly evolving space.
Jeff is fluent in French.
