This 2 hour presentation will cover the impact of the new NYS estate tax laws, which took effect April 1, 2014, and the resulting planning options available to clients. We will also review the federal estate tax laws, trust planning options, and the benefits of building flexibility into an estate plan in the changing tax environment. In addition, we will be discussing the Medicaid laws in NYS and the long-term care planning options available to advisers and clients.
This program will provide members with 2 hours of CFP, CPA and NYS Insurance Credit has been applied for.
