11-13-23 William F. Savino Esq. was a featured presenter at the Commercial Division Institute's seminar - "Business Divorce Litigation: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly."
William F. Savino was one of three presenters to the Commercial Division Institute on November 1, 2023, at Fordham University Law School in New York City before over forty Appellate Division and Commercial Part Judges from across the state, including the Fourth Department. The seminar was named "Business Divorce Litigation: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." Mr. Savino's presentation addressed the judicial dissolution of corporations under the New York Business Corporation Law.
Bernard Schenkler of Woods Oviatt prepared the written materials for the seminar. Among the presenters was Peter Mahler, who authors a well-known blog https://www.nybusinessdivorce.com. Mr. Mahler spoke on the dissolution of other business entities, including Limited Liability Companies. This was the second time in nine years that Peter Mahler and Bill Savino made a presentation on corporate governance in New York City to the Commercial Division Institute (that is, the judges who sit in the Commercial Division).
