We are pleased to announce that Michael A. de Gennaro has become a Partner in the firm, effective January 1, 2024.
Michael is a Partner in the Business and Finance Department. His practice focuses on the representation of domestic and international companies in corporate transactions. Michael's primary areas of practice are mergers and acquisitions, debt finance and project finance transactions, and other complex corporate matters across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, transportation, oil, gas, and renewable energy, and financial services. Michael was previously the General Counsel at Keolis North America, the U.S. affiliate of the French railroad (SNCF), where he was responsible for a number of high-profile transportation procurements in North America, including Keolis's successful bid to operate and maintain the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority's commuter rail lines in Boston.
Michael received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, and his B.A. from City College of the City University of New York, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa. He is licensed to practice in the states of New York and Texas and in the District of Columbia.
